Education & Awareness

TARSI's efforts to inform the public about road safety. It includes campaigns, school outreach, community events, and media programs that teach people how to stay safe on the roads. The goal is to reduce accidents by promoting awareness and responsible behavior.

Professional Training and Capacity Building

TARSI’s programs aimed at training drivers, traffic personnel, and road safety professionals. It includes workshops, certification courses, and skills development initiatives to ensure that those involved in traffic systems are well equipped and updated with best practices.

Road Accident Victim Support

i. Financial Support TARSI offers financial assistance to cover emergency medical treatment, rehabilitation, or support for families who have lost a breadwinner due to road accidents. ii. Moral Support Highlights emotional and psychological support for victims and their families through counseling, support groups, and community engagement to help them cope with trauma. iii. Legal Support TARSI provides legal aid or advice to victims, helping them understand their rights, file insurance claims, and pursue justice when necessary.

STUDENTS AND ROAD SAFETY PROJECT (SRSP)

STUDENTS AND ROAD SAFETY PROJECT (SRSP) is aiming to educate students in primary and secondary schools on road safety for a period of 12 months in Kinondoni, Ubungo, Kigamboni, Temeke, and Ilala. The implementation is currently taking place by adopting the Road safety training curriculum and developing a module that will be used for the entire project time. We are cooperating with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and Tanzania Police Force, schools, and Local Government Authorities (LGAs).

The Overall objective is to support eduction on road accidents among students in primary and secondary schools.
